In Working condition Civil War period model pistol.  It is a deluxe version with plane wood grips and brass frame and barrel.  This gun’s spring is tight, and it does work and does fire and cock. The hammer spur was period shortened.  the grips are slightly worn but nice. has some surface patina, The gun is about .44 caliber.   Many European weapons were exported to the US for sale before and during the Civil War. A classic Civil War period pistol and A choice functioning display gun.    A favorite of both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War.
