Very Nice Original Excavated Civil War U.S. Belt Plate (Buckle).  Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A stamped brass lead filled model 1863 U.S. belt plate.  This plate has a nice combat used appearance showing  wear, Recovered at Little Round Top Gettysburg  (see photos)..It has a chocolate brown patina (the way we like them).  This plate was excavated  (dug from the ground).  100% authentic.
