Original Hitler silver large Gravy Boat Serving piece from his “formal” dining set. We have a few pieces we are selling. This offer is for one piece a mega rare gravy boat server.   This is one of the rarest and largest pieces from the set. The sets would have up to 30 forks and spoons for settings but only one or two gravy boats.   The formal pattern is the most desirable of all the silver owned by Hitler featuring his personal eagle and AH monogram with a “Greek Key” pattern on the edge. It has the proper silver hallmarks and “Wellner” as it should. Excellent used condition with one small ding just a few very light scratches like all silver have. This was “liberated” (looted) from Hitler by a U.S. soldier at the end of WWII. This Hitler silver was at the Berghof, The Eagle’s Nest, and The Brown House.  The U.S. units to arrive at the Obersalzberg area and enter Hitler’s home as well as The Eagles’s Nest and The Brown House in Munich were the ones who got the choice Hitler silver.
