The political version of the cap Edelweiss was worn by many different organizations during the Third Reich period. NSDAP, HJ and SA to name a few. Specialized unit within these organization were permitted to wear the Edelweiss on either kepis, field caps or overseas caps. wp piece, alloy construction. Stemless edelweiss features nine extended irregular petals. The reverse of the badge is complete with both attachment prongs. The edelweiss has RZM marks and code.
