Original Salty German  NSDAP (NAZI PARTY)  State Service Flag Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. A WWII German State Service flag that has a period repair (done by the German to repair the tattered edge, see photo). In good combat used condition measures about 54″/90″ we placed a helmet on it for a size reference. State Service Flags flew on all Government buildings that were not directly Military such as Post-offices, and other Government buildings. A really great display piece for your war room. It does have a few holes and tears and some soiling  (has a great been there look) A fantastic piece of   history This flag is A good quality version and one of the better display sizes for the most  discriminating and cultivated collector. Printed on two sides (one side is mirror image).  The fly edge was period shortened (the ends frayed and they were often period shortened and re-sewn) It is only about 2 inches and is barely noticeable.
