Original WWII Japanese Marine Landing Force  Field Cap In Good Condition Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Cotton cloth construction, khaki-colored field cap used by the Japanese Military until the end of the war. Above its stiffened, short visor, made of the same material as the body, and with five parallel rows of reinforced stitching to it, is sewn a pentagonal patch, in olive drab, upon which is a yellow anchor.  Three ventilation holes are to each side of the cap. Six holes are to either side of the vertical slash to the reverse of the cap: the six bound together by an adjustable tie string. The interior is lined in a silk/rayon material sweatband is intact (see photos).  100% Guaranteed to be authentic and is certified by The Gettysburg Museum Of History and comes with our Museum COA (certificate of authenticity).
