Original WWII German Army High Quality Large Silver Knife By Taken By A U.S. Veteran. A very large silver knife.  This is from an Army officer silver set. This was for entertaining and the fancy upscale dinners. Very heavy with maker mark and a very nice roll stamped Wehrmacht eagle.   This piece was taken by a U.S. Soldier during WWII as “Loot” or “Trophy of War”. This silver pattern was found in May of 1945. It is part of the Dr. Mark Griffith collection of WWII silver and he and interviewed hundreds of Veterans pictured here.
