Original WWII German SS Obersalzberg Administration (Hitler Guards) High Quality Large Silver Gravy Ladle Taken By A U.S. Veteran. A large silver ladle. This piece is from a SS Officer’s Admin Obersalzberg silver set. This was for entertaining and upscale dinners. Very heavy with maker mark and a very nice roll stamped “SS Verwaltung Obersalzberg”.  This piece was taken by a U.S. Soldier during WWII as “Loot” or “Trophy of War”. This silver pattern was found in May of 1945. It is part of the Dr. Mark Griffith collection of WWII silver and he and interviewed hundreds of Veterans pictured here.
