Original WWII Japanese Officer’s Sword Belt Brought Home By A U.S. Soldier Certified. A 31 3/4″ x 3″, khaki-colored, webbed canvas belt with leather fittings. Stepped back from one edge is stitched a 2″ wide brown leather tab with a double-claw, nickel-silver plated brass buckle. Stepped back from the other edge is stitched a 2″ x 11 3/4″ brown leather tongue with seven double buckling holes. The reverse of the belt is featureless. The webbed canvas is lightly age and usage soiled, but otherwise intact. All of the leather elements, although supple, exhibit noticeable chafe wear and cracking. The nickel-silver plating to its brass components has worn to its highlights. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic and is certified by The Gettysburg Museum Of History and comes with our Museum COA (certificate of authenticity).
