Original WWII Well marked Japanese Army  Winter  Cap In Good Condition Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. A standard pattern cap as issued to Japanese troops for cold weather conditions. Its exterior crown is comprised of six triangular sections of kaki  drab quilted cloth  which meet at a  “button” to its apex. mall, “D”-shaped flaps of the same material are sewn along the seam to the base of the sections above each ear. Beneath these extend drab quilted l panels which cover the ears, are joined by another panel along the back of the neck, and could be fastened under the chin to the front.  Each of the small flaps have tie string their interiors and have olive drab loops to their outside edges. These loops mate with either the buttons sewn to each side of the crown, or the buttons sewn below each of the circular openings to the lower panels. The interior is lined in white quilted cotton that bears an ink stamp.  in very good condition.   100% Guaranteed to be authentic and is certified by The Gettysburg Museum Of History and comes with our Museum COA (certificate of authenticity).
