OUTSTANDING Original WWII Totenkopf “Canteen” Ring Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

SOLD

OUTSTANDING Original WWII Totenkopf “Canteen” Ring Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The SS Honor Ring (Der SS-Totenkopfring or SS-Ehrenring) was instituted at the personal behest of Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler and was awarded for outstanding achievement and loyalty.  It remains the most highly prized and sought after of all SS awards. Along side these rings were also private purchase SS rings, in which these rings were purchased by SS men not entitled to wear the Totenkopf ring. This is a superb example of a Totenkopf ring that soldiers could buy at the canteen. These were favored by SS, TK, and Einsatzkommando troops. This one has a particularly sinister look and is in fine condition. Brought home by a U.S. 8th Division Solider.   OUTSTANDING combat used condition. Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. Certified by The Gettysburg Museum of History. The Gettysburg Museum of History does not support or condone Adolf Hitler or the Nazi Party and is only offering this as a historic relic.
