Herman Goering’s Personal Hunting Monogram Jewelry Taken By A U.S. Soldier From His Train Car. Adolf Hitler’s Number 2-man Herman Goering   Personal “Hunting Association.” seal gold metal box with the name “Carinhall” Taken By A U.S. Soldier WWII. A metal box with fancy roll stamped swastika and hunting horns. Carinhall was the name of his house named after his first Wife who passed away. Goering was the number 2 person in the Third Reich and was known for fancy extravagant wealth. He was also in charge of the German hunting association. He was the top Nazi next to Hitler and was tried and convicted at the Nuremberg trials. After his conviction he cheated the hangman by taking poison. This piece was taken by a U.S. Soldier during WWII as “Loot” or “Trophy of War”. This Goering box was found in his personal train at Berchtesgaden, Germany in May of 1945. (Name Of The Veteran Will Be Included In A Letter That Will Accompany The box) It was from the Dr. Mark Griffith collection who wrote several books of WWII and interviewed hundreds of Veterans.
