Joe Rogan Amazed by Gettysburg Museum of History’s Rare Items

Even to someone who’s seen a lot, the Gettysburg Museum of History’s collection of rare historical artifacts can be pretty mind-blowing.

“Whoa, look at that!” exclaimed Joe Rogan, the host of the world’s most popular podcast (according to Spotify ranking), to nearly 20 million subscribers as he and fellow comedians Ari Shaffir, Mark Normand, and Shane Gillis looked at the Museum’s website, fascinated by its display of rare WWII relics.

At the 1:45:45 mark of episode no. 2333, released June 5, of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan and his guests expressed incredulity at the Museum’s array of rare and one-of-a-kind artifacts, including authentic Nazi uniform pieces and items autographed by some of history’s most notorious figures such as Adolf Hitler and Adolf Eichmann.

“A few outstanding, very original document letters signed, autographed, by Adolf Eichmann,” Rogan read off GettysburgMuseumOfHistory.com.

“And not just on a piece of paper,” Shaffir chimed in.

The four podcasters continued scrolling in amazement while an image of the Museum’s website was shown as in inset on the video. Rogan pointed out a particularly interesting item, a Nazi officer’s arm sleeve with eagle insignia.

“It’s history!” added Normand.

Gettysburg Museum of History founder and director Erik L. Dorr was gratified by the podcasters’ reaction but not surprised.

“The discussion they had on The Joe Rogan Experience is exactly like what we hear from visitors every day. People are always astonished at our collection of rare authentic relics, from the Revolutionary War to the Civil War to World War II and even 20th century pop culture. We’re thrilled that Rogan found our website and told his millions of followers about the Gettysburg Museum of History’s amazing collection.”
