    Original WWII German Mauser Relic Used On D-Day At Crisbecq Battery (Utah Beach) Normandy Certified. A standard K-98 German Mauser rifle, the main battle rifle of the German Army and SS in relic condition. This rifle was found at The German Crisbecq Battery behind Utah Beach in Normandy. The Crisbecq Battery was part of the Atlantic wall and held several large cannons. Crisbecq guns took out the USS Cory on D-Day. The Battery was a Kreigsmarine battery and had some Infantry support. The U.S. 4th Infantry division unsuccessfully tried to take the Battery after D-Day, eventually the U.S. 9th Division took the battery on June 11, 1944. There was a massive fight there and the Germans held out 5 days! The Case-mates and bunkers were eventually blown up by U.S. soldiers and many were sealed until the 1990's when French historians excavated the bunkers and many relics were found including this rifle! This rifle was obtained by the Gettysburg Museum of History from the owner of Crisbecq Battery that is now a Museum. A real piece of D-Day history!     Original WWII Era Hitler Youth HJ PROFICIENCY BADGE In Silver Certified

    Original WWII Era Hitler Youth HJ PROFICIENCY BADGE In Silver Certified. The Leistungsabzeichen der HJ, (Proficiency Badge of the HJ), was instituted as the first Hitler Youth award by Reichsjugendführer Baldur von Schirach on May 1ST 1934 as an incentive for HJ members to increase their proficiency in military oriented athletics, academics, field exercises, and shooting. The badge was established in three grades of Silver, Bronze and Iron, with the age of the recipient being the determining factor of which grade the individual was eligible for. Seventeen year old's were eligible for the Silver badge, sixteen year old's for the Bronze badge and fifteen year old's for the Iron badge. Each HJ member was issued a Leistungsbuch, (Qualification book), to record their achievements and verify their right to wear the badge when awarded. Originally the badges were worn on the left breast pocket of the HJ service uniform but later regulations altered wear to the right breast pocket. The stamped, polished alloy award is in the form of a Tyr-rune with a circle superimposed to it, upon which is embossed, in runic script, "Für Leistungen In Der H.J." (For Proficiency In The H.J.), encompassing a mobile swastika. To the age darkened reverse is a raised RZM mark, "M1/35" indicating manufacture by  Wachtler & Lange, Mittweida and a six-digit serial number. The pin-back device is intact.     SOLD Original WWII German Army Officer's Uniform Removed Bullion Breast Eagle Certified. Generally Officer’s ranks utilized hand or machine embroidered breast eagles while EM/NCO’s ranks utilized machine embroidered or machine woven breast eagles. During the war the breast eagles were manufactured in a variety of slightly different manufacturing techniques and coloration. Hand embroidered, national breast eagle with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted, swastika in it’s talons in bright, silver/aluminum bullion and wire threads with accent threads mounted on a cut-out dark blue/green badge cloth base.     SOLD Outstanding Original WWII Era German NSDAP (Nazi) POLITICAL FLAG POLE FINIAL Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A polished aluminum flag pole finial, in the form of an eagle whose outstretched wings have a span of 24cm and which clutches a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons. The obverse of the swastika is painted in black enamel, most of which has been retained. From the base of the wreath extends a collar, 70mm deep with a 25mm internal diameter. Two perforations may be seen to its exterior, along with a stamped RZM, "Reichszeugmeisterei" (National-material-control-office), logo and "M3/40/37," being a manufacturer’s code with a 1936 date. There is a few dings on the eagle (see photos) also slight black paint loss otherwise in good condition. A very rare and striking badge.   In good but worn condition some wear.   • Original WWII German M-42 Double Decal KIA Field Police Helmet Brought Back By A U.S. Veteran Certified

    SOLD Original WWII German M-42 Double Decal KIA Field Police Helmet Brought Back By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler’s appointment to Chef der Deutschen Polizei im Reichsministerium des Innern, on June 17TH 1936, he effectively had full control of all the police agencies within Germany. As a result of this appointment and the restructuring of all the separate German state police into a single national police force new regulations were instituted to bring about uniformity in dress for all police through-out the country. The new dress regulations included an attempt to standardize the helmets of the police and on July 28TH 1936 regulations once again altered the insignia on the police helmets with the new wreathed police eagle emblem to be applied to the left side of the helmet and the NSDAP, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (National Socialist German Worker’s Party), party shield applied to the right side. The July 1936 police helmet insignia was utilized for the duration of the war. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains about 97% of its slightly rough textured, field-grey paint. The left side of the helmet has a black based, silver, wreathed, police eagle/wreath/swastika decal which is retained about 97%. The right side of the helmet has a NSDAP party shield decal with a narrow black outer border, a red base field with a central, white, circle with a canted, black, swastika. The party shield decal is retained about 74%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. Original liner band is present the M31 tan leather liner is fully intact with all fingers (two fingers are torn). The liner has a blood stain probable KIA and some light rust from blood inside the shell as well as a small dent (see photos) where a projectile hit the helmet. The interior, reverse, neck guard apron has a stamped, serial number, "Z92"? and marked "EF64", indicating manufacture by Emaillierwerk, AG Fulda, size  size 64. Very nice untouched combat worn and Killed In Action German field Police Helmet. A very good "fresh find" (never in a collection)  example. Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided.
