Shop original WWII German helmets for sale from the Gettysburg Museum of History’s collection: M35, M40 and M42 combat helmets (Stahlhelm) from the army, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine and Waffen-SS, along with police, Luftschutz and fire-service helmets, First World War M16 and M18 helmets and Pickelhauben, and the liners, chinstraps, covers and decals that go with them.
Every helmet is an original wartime piece examined and certified by the museum, never a reproduction. Listings describe the shell and lot markings, liner and liner band, chinstrap, paint and decals, and any battle damage or veteran provenance, because those details are what separate an untouched helmet from a restored or assembled one. Most helmets here came home with U.S. veterans, and many are named or documented.
