    Original Early German Hitler Youth Belt Buckle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Original Hitler Youth (Hitlerjungend) Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) , that was introduced in 1936. It is constructed out of a single piece of die struck nickel-silver that has been silver washed. The obverse roundel depicts a closed winged HJ eagle clutching an HJ diamond within its talons on a pebbled round background. Above the eagle is the Hitler Youth motto reading: "Blut und Ehre" (Blood and Honor). This is then encircled by detailed lines which are enclosed by two twisted ropes and all lies on the smooth rectangular background. . The reverse shows a soldered on tombak catch and steel pin, post/sleeve and prongs assembly. It shows minor surface scratches and wear throughout. The details to the eagle, motto and roundel are excellent! It measures approximately 2 7/16 inch wide by 1 7/8 inches high.     Original German WWI 1914 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class Stick Pin Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Worn in the post war period by a WWI German soldier.  As with most military and civilian awards of the Third Reich period miniature version lapel pins were permitted for wear on civilian clothing. These miniature awards were private purchase items and could only be purchased by individuals with the proper ownership documentation. General regulations, with a few minor exceptions, permitted wear of three miniature awards at one time but prohibited the mixing of military and civilian awards on one lapel pin. Nice quality, die struck alloy, combined, exact detailed miniatures of the Iron Cross 1ST and 2ND class. The Iron Crosses are neatly soldered together where their arms meet. Reverse has its vertical 40mm stickpin intact. very scarce.     Original WWII German NSV MEMBER'S LAPEL PIN. (NSV Mitglied Aufschlagnadel) Certified. The NSV, National Sozialistische Volkswohlfahrt, (National Socialist People’s Welfare Organization), was an NSDAP affiliated organization formed in May 1933 from personnel of the preceding DVD. Deutscher Volkswohl Dienst, (German Social Welfare Service), instituted by Otto von Bismarck. The NSV was responsible for a wide range of Social services including the WHW, Winter Hilf Werk, (Winter Assistance Work), and worked closely with the DRK, Deutsches Rotes Kreuz, (German Red Cross). Roughly 17mm diameter, die struck alloy, NSV member’s lapel pin. The lapel pin features a fine raised outer edge encompassing, embossed, stylized, overlapping initials, "NSV", with the "N" stylized like a wolfsangle and the "SV", imitating the Leben-rune, (Life rune), on a smooth background field. The reverse of the pin is well marked with embossed script, "Ges.     Outstanding VERY RARE Exclamation Point M-33 SS Service Dagger Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

    Outstanding VERY RARE Exclamation Point M-33 SS Service Dagger Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. RZM marked nice quality dagger features a roughly, 22cm long, double edged, drop forged steel construction, nickel/silver plated blade with a low central ridge. The nickel/silver plated blade shows light scabbard runners and is still quite clean and bright with most of the original cross graining still being visible. The obverse of the blade has a nice, deep, well defined acid etched motto, "Meine Ehre Heißt Treue", (My Honor is Loyalty). With MEGA RARE exclamation point!!!!! The reverse of the blade has a well defined acid etched manufacturers logo, name and location. The RZM mark and maker number M7/29 for Klittemann & Moog and Jacobs. The dagger comes with a solid nickel/silver cross guard, pommel and tang nut and a carved ebony grip (note there is a few very small cracks in the wood (see photos) Very minor to the naked eye. The nicely shaped ebony grip has a nice snug fit to the cross guard and pommel fittings. The grip has a flush, inset, solid nickel/silver national eagle and nickel/silver and enameled runic SS button nicely fit in place. The dagger comes with a black painted, magnetic sheet metal scabbard with solid nickel/silver fittings. The scabbard retains all of its black finish. Both the top and bottom scabbard fittings retain both of their dome headed retaining screws and the top fitting has the hanger suspension ring and loop intact. Small crack at the tip near the screw where it was dropped at some point (minor but we thought we should point it out (see photos) Super nice!     Original WWII German NSKK Sleeve Eagle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The development of the NSKK, National Sozialistisches Kraftfahr Korps (National Socialist Motor Corps), can be traced back to 1923 when the SA introduced a Kraftfahr Abteilung (Motor Section) to transport personnel as required. In 1928 the SA Motor section was expanded to Kraftfahrstaffeln (Motor Squadrons).  The insignia is comprised of a machine woven, silver/aluminum flat-wire thread NSKK eagle and swastika beneath an arching banner reading "N.S.K.K.". Size 95mm x 50mm. This insignia was originally worn on the upper right sleeve until late 1938 or early 1939 when it was transferred to the upper left sleeve.     Original German NSDAP (Nazi Party) DAF "Deutsche Arbeitsfront" (German Labor-front) Member's Lapel Badge Certified.  The "Deutsche Arbeitsfront" (German Labor-front), originally founded in 1933, became an official NSDAP organization in October 1934. Its stated purpose was to educate the workers in industry and commerce in furtherance of the smooth and efficient operation of all labor in the Third Reich. It also controlled the KdF, "Kraft durch Freude" (Strength through Joy) organization which provided recreation for workers. However, DAF’s most important goal was to enforce the political stability of the large mass of work force. A die-struck alloy pin which features the DAF emblem of a mobile swastika within a fourteen-toothed cog, 20mm in diameter. Where the cog is smooth, the swastika has raised edges within which is a cross-hatched pattern. Complete with original pin back device.     SOLD Original German NSDAP (Nazi) LARGE "N.S. FRAUENSCHAFT" MEMBERSHIP BADGE Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. The "Nat. Soz. Frauenschaft" (National Socialist Women’s-organization) was formed by absorbing the earlier "Deutsches Frauenwerk" (German Women’s-welfare-organization), and the "Deutscher Frauenorden" (German Women’s-order), into a single national organization.  A slightly convex, alloy and enamel badge in the form of an inverted triangle, 39mm wide along its top edge and 44mm tall. "N.S. Frauenschaft" is to the white band to the top of the obverse, underneath of which is a white cross against a black background. To the center of the cross is a red, static swastika, and "G" is to its left arm, "H" to its right, and "L" to its base. These Gothic letters signify the Frauenschaft motto, "Glaube, Hoffnung, Liebe" (Faith, Hope, Love). All of the letters, and the edges of the swastika, cross, and the badge itself, are in the same gilt color as its alloy base. A horizontal pin-back device is crimped to a circular plate brazed to the reverse. Nice quality example showing the expected minor age and wear, slight loss to the tip of the enamel.     Papers Please! An Outstanding SA (Brownshirt) Man's Grouping Of Documents Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Award and Document Set to SAScharführer Friedrich Bautz. Bautz was born 25 January 1905 in Dudweiler and was a miner by profession. He was a member of SASturm 16-70. His SASport Badge booklet was started 1 April 1936, Saarbruecken. It has his photo smoking a cigarette. It has entries into1938. His SAMedical Examination Certificate was completed on 20 August 1936, and has the red ink stap of SASturmbann IV-70. He was classified, 2. His health “book” was an insert inside the SALeistungsbuch. He was found fit 23 May 1936. Not shown on the inside is where they recorded that his family was free from any genetic defects. The War Service Cross 2nd Class, Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2 Klasse, lists him as an SAScharführer. The award was made 20 September 1944, Munich. It has a stamped signature of Generalleutnant Vorwald. The ink stamp is for the Luftgau. It has a 4 way fold. Unusual to get a set to an SA Staff Sergeant, especially as late as 1944. Great grouping!  These are excellent for teachers and researchers.     SOLD Original WWII Deluxe Nazi German Multi-Piece Construction  Armband  Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. A U.S. vet bring back in  good condition. Some storage wear and  fair-good condition.  Deluxe version of the Nazi  Arm Band.  The most recognizable pieces of insignia associated with the Nazi regime is the swastika armband. Utilized by pretty much by all the organization of the Third Reich in one form or another. The swastika, (a Sanskrit word meaning "well being"), is an ancient symbol that was utilized in numerous diverse cultures and signified both the cycle of life and the sun.     Original WWII German RAD Enlisted/NCO Belt Buckle With Leather Tab Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Early, injection molded, natural aluminum box buckle with a pebbled base field and a circular, embossed central motif. The central motif features five, high relief embossed sheaves of wheat encompassing an embossed, inverted, smooth, spade head with an embossed, canted, pebbled, swastika on a subtlety textured, domed, circular central field. The buckle shows light chafe wear which has resulted in a minor loss of detailing. The reverse of the buckle is a mirror image of obverse. The reverse has an integral, raised, slotted buckle catch and separate prong bar and prongs all intact.  Complete with original leather pull tab stamped with maker. In very good condition.     Original WWI 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class Medal Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History.  1914 pattern, die struck, three piece, iron and alloy construction Pattée style cross with a single piece iron core and two piece silver alloy frame. The obverse of the cross features an embossed, central, "W" cypher for King Wilhelm II, re-institution date, "1914", to the bottom arm and a King’s crown to the top arm. The reverse of the cross features an embossed, central, oak-leaf cluster, with the "FW" cypher for King Friedrich Wilhelm III, a King’s crown to the top arm and the original institution date, "1813", to the bottom arm. All the emblems are in nice high relief. The ribbon suspension loop and ring are both intact. The cross comes complete with a piece of ribbed rayon ribbon.     SOLD Original Cased German Mother's Cross Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter In Gold. The Mother’s Cross was introduced by Adolf Hitler on December 16TH 1938 as part of a large propaganda campaign aimed at increasing the birth rate. The award was officially designated, Honor Cross of the German Mother, and was instituted in three grades to recognize and reward child bearing German females. The three grades consisted of the bronze cross for bearing four or five children, the silver cross for bearing six or seven children and the gold cross for bearing eight or more children. Criteria for the award included that the parents be of pure German blood, and that the mother was worthy of such an honor. two piece, stamped tombac award with a gold wash and blue and white enamel work. Award in the form of a Christian cross with outward fluted arms in semi-translucent blue enamel with white enamel border. Cross has a raised sunburst pattern emanating between its arms. Separate central circular field with white enamel base and black static swastika, encompassed by a circular border with embossed Latin script, "Der Deutschen Mutter", (The German Mother). Reverse has impressed simulated handwritten script, "16 December 1938", and facsimile Hitler signature. Original full length  ribbon is also included. Award housed in a, 11cm x 5cm x 2cm, case, finished in simulated dark blue leather with an impression of the cross in to top cover.     Original WWII German SA MILITARY DEFENSE/TEAM SPORTS ARMBAND With RZM. The "SA -Wehrmannschaft" (SA -Military-defense-training-groups) were formed in January 1939 as a response to Hitler's decree for the SA to provide pre- and post-military defense training to all civilian males aged from 18 to 65 years old. Effectively a Home Guard comprised of those deemed unfit for regular military service due to age or partial infirmity, they wore a distinctive armband which incorporated the "SA -Wehrabzeichen" (SA Sports-badge) which, after July 1942, was restricted to wear on civilian clothing. The approximately 10cm x 45cm red cotton armband has a 9cm diameter white field sewn to it, upon which is the SA sports badge machine woven in copper-colored threads. The SA sports badge is in the form of an upright short sword against a mobile swastika surrounded by an oak leaf wreath. The armband's vertical seam is to the reverse. Still has the original paper RZM tag inside (see photos).  In good condition.     Papers Please! An Outstanding SA (Brownshirt) Man's Grouping Of Documents Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Award and Document Set to SAScharführer Friedrich Bautz. Bautz was born 25 January 1905 in Dudweiler and was a miner by profession. He was a member of SASturm 16-70. His SASport Badge booklet was started 1 April 1936, Saarbruecken. It has his photo smoking a cigarette. It has entries into1938. His SAMedical Examination Certificate was completed on 20 August 1936, and has the red ink stap of SASturmbann IV-70. He was classified, 2. His health “book” was an insert inside the SALeistungsbuch. He was found fit 23 May 1936. Not shown on the inside is where they recorded that his family was free from any genetic defects. The War Service Cross 2nd Class, Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2 Klasse, lists him as an SAScharführer. The award was made 20 September 1944, Munich. It has a stamped signature of Generalleutnant Vorwald. The ink stamp is for the Luftgau. It has a 4 way fold. Unusual to get a set to an SA Staff Sergeant, especially as late as 1944. Great grouping!  These are excellent for teachers and researchers.     SOLD Original German NSDAP (Nazi) "NAT. SOZ.  FRAUENSCHAFT" MEMBERSHIP BADGE Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. The "Nat. Soz. Frauenschaft" (National Socialist Women’s-organization) was formed by absorbing the earlier "Deutsches Frauenwerk" (German Women’s-welfare-organization), and the "Deutscher Frauenorden" (German Women’s-order), into a single national organization.  A slightly convex, alloy and enamel badge in the form of an inverted triangle, 16mm wide along its top edge and 20mm tall. "N.S. Frauenschaft" is to the white band to the top of the obverse, underneath of which is a white cross against a black background. To the center of the cross is a red, static swastika, and "G" is to its left arm, "H" to its right, and "L" to its base. These Gothic letters signify the Frauenschaft motto, "Glaube, Hoffnung, Liebe" (Faith, Hope, Love). All of the letters, and the edges of the swastika, cross, and the badge itself, are in the same gilt color as its alloy base. A horizontal pin-back device is crimped to a circular plate brazed to the reverse. Has the RZM mark "M1/92 number code  for Maker Karl Wild, Hamburg . The Army Mobilization Order of March 12TH 1937, introduced a wide variety of armbands that were worn to identify personnel performing specific duties or functions for the Armed Forces. Most of the armbands were worn on the upper left sleeve of uniformed or non-uniformed personnel and were worn only while the individual was performing the specific duty or function identified by the armband. The "Nicht-Wehrmachtangehörige", (Non-Members of the Armed Forces), armband was one of the armbands introduced with the Army Mobilization Order of March 12TH 1937 and was designed for wear by combatants who were not members of the Armed Forces. Screened  golden yellow cotton construction armband with a black, embroidered, stylized national eagle with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in its talons to the obverse center. The top and bottom edges of the armband have interwoven rows of reinforcement stitching and the reverse of the armband has a machine stitched, vertical, seam.In good worn condition some storage wear good colors.     SOLD Original WWII German Multi-Piece  Construction  SS Armband  Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran.  Some light wear  from storage good condition.  SS  version of the Nazi  Arm Band.  The most recognizable pieces of insignia associated with the Nazi regime is the swastika armband. Utilized by pretty much by all the organization of the Third Reich in one form or another. The swastika, (a Sanskrit word meaning "well being"), is an ancient symbol that was utilized in numerous diverse cultures and signified both the cycle of life and the sun. The swastika was also a Nordic rune and the pagan Germanic symbol for Thor, God of Adventurers.  A  high quality cotton cloth materiel. approximately 9cm diameter  cloth  blend white disk, and high quality white disk and screened black  swastika.     Papers Please! A WWI Soldier Is Drafted Into Service Again During WWII Excellent Group Of Documents And Photos Certified. Wehrpass and Document Set for Heinrich Neustedt, born 7 August 1897, Bürgdamm. He was a business manager in civilian. The Wehrpass was started 13 May 1943, Bremen. The cover is stamped Heer in red ink. The symbol on the cover is partially inked in, so he obviously used it as an identity document after 1945. The pages are complete, but are loose from the cover. He had a Class 3 civilian driver’s license. He was drafted for military service, and was classified Landwehr II, 13 May 1943. He served in WW1 from 10 May 1916 until 30 March 1919, and had trained on a 98k. He was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd Class 2 September 1918, the Black Wound Badge 5 June 1918, and the Hindenburg Cross for Combatants 25 March 1935. His WW1 service was on the West Front, 13 November 1916 to 27 July 1917, and from 4 May 1918 to 27 December 1918. He was discharged at the demobilization, 31 March 1919. He had been a Schütze with 2 Company Infanterie regiment 31 Altona. He had been injured by being buried (trench? artillery?) 27 July 1917. The Black Wound Badge document awarded to Musketier Heinrich Neustedt, 5 June 1918, as a member of 1 MMaschineGunn Company Infanterie Regiment Graf Bose (1 Thuringen) 31. With ink stamp and signature of the Major and Commander. The War Service Cross for Combatants document awarded to OG Personalamtsleiter Heinrich Neustedt, OG Industeriehafen Bremen. Awarded 27 Oktober 1944 and has a facsimilie signature of General der Flieger Wolff. This would have been a position in charge of personnel working in the industry-businesses in the Bremen port. Also includes a small 2.5 x 3.5 photo of what sure looks like him in an Armyuniform as a private.  These are excellent for teachers and researchers. Second pattern, police cap eagle as introduced on June 25TH 1936 to replace the earlier, (Circa April 1934-June 1936), first pattern cap eagle. The single piece, silver washed, die stamped, zinc alloy construction, right facing eagle features out-stretched wings and is clutching a canted swastika in its talons. The eagle is superimposed on an embossed, vertically oval, oak-leaf wreath with the eagles wings extending beyond the outer edges of the wreath with a roughly, 55mm wingspan. The eagle and the wreath both have nice high relief detailing and the insignia is slightly convexed to fit the contours of a cap. Both of the original attachment prongs are intact. .     SOLD Papers Please! Excellent WWII German Heer (Army) Soldier's served Gebirgs Jaeger Regiment 144 Documents And Letters As A POW! Certified. document & ID group to Max Ascher, who lastly served Gebirgs Jaeger Regiment 144. Ascher was born in 1918. His 1st style Arbeitsbuch was started in 1936. He worked with horses until he was conscripted 30 August 1939. Also includes his girlfriend's 2nd style Arbeitsbuch. Luiza Brill's Arbeitsbuch was started in 1938, and last entry was 1944, when she worked at a leather and textile firm. Ascher was awarded the War Service Cross 2nd Class for Combatants, 14 November 1941, when he was an Obergefreiter with Kl.Kw.Kol. f. Betriebs Stoff 7-173. It is signed by Generalmajor Rudolf von Buenau, as assistant to the commander of Infantry Division 73 (He was nammed commander in November). He had been awarded the Knight's Cross in 1940, and went on to win the Oak Leaves in 1945. Ascher was awarded the Russian Front Medal, 10 September 1942. It is signed by a Lieutenant and the ink stamp is from the 173. Ascher was awarded the Krim Shield, 1 November 1942. The document has the facsimile stamp signature of GFM von Manstein, and the ink stamp of Armee Ober Kdo. 11. Lastly, Ascher was awarded the Black Wound Badge on 24 July 1944 (earned 12 July). The award was made by a staff doctor at military hospital 1-619. At the time, Ascher was a member of 1 Company Gebirgs Jaeger Regiment 144. The 73rd Infantry Division had fought at Kertsch in March 1944, and was destroyed at Sewastopol, May 1944. In June 1944, Gebrigs Jaeger. Regiment 144 was by Moldau, not far from Sewastopol, so makes sense he had been transfered. Also included are two feldpost letters. The one dated February 1944 is from Kraftfahr-Kompanie Infanterie-Divisions-Nachschub-Trupp 173. The one sent 30 July 1944, is from the military hospital. Lastly are 3 Russian POW letters from 1947. He was a prisoner by Moscow. These are excellent for teachers and researchers. During de-Nazification much of this type of material like so many WWII documents was destroyed.  in good condition. The eagle features out-stretched wings and is clutching a wreathed, canted, swastika in its talons. The eagle has a Iron Cross superimposed over crossed swords on its breast. The reverse of the eagle is a mirror image of the obverse. The reverse has a crimped hinge inset into a recess with crimped retainers, a thin round horizontal pin and a catch also inset into a recess with crimped retainers. The reverse is well marked with "Ges. A 35mm diameter, solid struck proto-plastic badge whose obverse depicts a young couple dancing before a "May Pole," from which streamers trail in the wind. An eagle with outstretched wings grasping a wreathed, mobile swastika is to the base. To one side of the eagle is "1 Mai," with "1938" to the other.     Original German NSDAP (Nazi) Party Enamel RZM Marked Membership Badge Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. The NSDAP, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (National Socialist German Worker’s Party), was originally founded in Munich as the DAP, Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (German Worker’s Party), on January 5TH 1919. When Adolf Hitler joined the DAP in the autumn of 1919 he was to reform what was basically a debating society into an active political party. Appointed as the first chairman of the party on July 29TH 1921 Hitler was to restructure it along para-military lines in a hierarchy of four levels of government. Of Note: In late 1934 items manufactured for the NSKK, including membership pins, came under the quality control of the RZM, Reichzeugmeisterei, (National Equipment Quartermaster) and as a result were marked with the RZM logo when appropriate. Standard issue membership badge awarded to all personnel on acceptance as an official party member. 24mm diameter, die struck alloy badge NSDAP membership badge with multi-colored enamel work. Badge features a translucent red, circular outer border with embossed silvered script, "National-Sozialistiche-D.A.P.", encompassing a white enamel field with canted black enamel swastika.     Original Early German Hitler Youth Belt Buckle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Original Hitler Youth (Hitlerjungend) Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) , that was introduced in 1936. It is constructed out of a single piece of die struck nickel-silver that has been silver washed. The obverse roundel depicts a closed winged HJ eagle clutching an HJ diamond within its talons on a pebbled round background. Above the eagle is the Hitler Youth motto reading: "Blut und Ehre" (Blood and Honor). This is then encircled by detailed lines which are enclosed by two twisted ropes and all lies on the smooth rectangular background. . The reverse shows a soldered on tombak catch and steel pin, post/sleeve and prongs assembly. It shows minor surface pitting in a spot (see photos) . The details to the eagle, motto and roundel are excellent! It measures approximately 2 7/16 inch wide by 1 7/8 inches high.     SOLD Original German NSDAP (Nazi)  "DEUTSCHES FRAUENWERK MEMBERSHIP BADGE Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. The "Deutsches Frauenwerk" (German Women’s-welfare-organization) was established in September 1933, eventually being absorbed into the "NS Frauenschaft" (National Socialist Women’s-organization). Members were issued lapel badges to distinguish them, this example being a first pattern members’ badge for non-NSDAP personnel.  The alloy badge takes the form of a 32mm tall inverted triangle with a 30mm wide top edge. It features a black enameled central field upon which is a silver mobile sunwheel swastika above a silver "Leben-rune" (Life-rune). The top silvered edge of the badge is wider than the sides and features the red enameled Gothic script "NS.- Frauenwerk". Well marked with embossed the "RZM" logo, beside which is embossed the manufacturer’s code, "M1/154" for maker FRANK & REIF, STUTTGART.). The roughly 38mm diameter, circular award features the embossed Social Welfare emblem of a Greek style cross with slightly textured arms with a stylized national eagle with down-swept wings superimposed to the center of the obverse on a plain field background.
