Original WWII German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) DRKB MEMBER’S ARMBAND EMBLEM Certified

    $59.00
Original WWII German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) DRKB MEMBER'S ARMBAND EMBLEM Certified. The DRKB, Deutscher Reichskriegerbund (Kyffhäuserbund), (German National Association of Veterans, Kyffhäuser Association), was formed during WWI, and was based on the DKB, Deutscher Kriegerbund (German Veterans Association), originally formed after the war of 1870-71. The addition of "Kyffhäuser" in the associations name referred to the Kyffhäuser mountain where a large war memorial had been erected. The goal of the association was to preserve the morale and comradeship of former soldiers and to financially assist its members if required. On March 29TH 1938 the DRKB was renamed NS-RKB, Nationalsozialistische-Reichskriegerbund, (National Socialist-State Soldiers League), by the NSDAP and amalgamated with most of the earlier veterans associations into one national organization. Uniform and headgear regulations of the DRKB/NS-RKB were introduced prior to 1933 and were modified again in 1936 and 1938. 1938 pattern machine woven NS-RKB emblem. Emblem consists of a white bordered, red shield with white bordered, black Iron Cross with white circular centerpiece featuring a black, canted swastika to center.  Nice used example showing the expected  but mild storage age and wear. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic Brought home by a U.S. solider as a trophy of war.  Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. • Original German Early NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) M-33 SS Dagger Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

SOLD Original German Early NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) M-33 SS Dagger Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. This fine early example was produced by a very rare maker: Gottlieb Hammesfahr & Co. AG, Nirosta-Werk, Stahlwarenfabrik und Gesenkschmiederei (Stainless Steel Factory, Steel goods factory and drop forge), in the Foche area of Solingen. This is a known producer of SS daggers during the Pre-WWII period and after. The rear of the dagger is marked with their trademark logo: GOTTLIEB HAMMESFAHR (CROSS ON PYRAMID LOGO) SOLINGEN FOCHE Founded in 1804 and registered with the Solingen chamber of commerce in 1875, this company is one of the largest and longest-established edged weapon producers in Solingen. While this company was known primarily as a drop forge, it also made knives and tools during the WWII period. They had several brand names, including PYRAMIDE, which had a logo of a Pyramid with a cross on it. The "oval" style trademark was specifically used on the blades of the earliest SS and SA daggers made during the Third Reich, per J. Anthony Carter's work GERMAN KNIFE AND SWORD MAKERS.  The blade remains mostly bright and still retains almost all of the factory cross grain, though there are small age spots and traces of past oxidation. The blade also has some light runner marks, but still is one of the best we've seen. This blade still grades in very good condition. The SS motto, Meine Ehre heißt Treue (Loyalty is my Honor) is crisp with little wear. About 90% of the factory blackening is in the letter fonts in the backgrounds. The edge of the blade does not show any non factory sharpening, and is still in great condition, with no nicks or major dents. The blade shoulders perfectly meet the lower crossguard contour, and is solid in the grip. The crossguards of this dagger and tang nut are in good condition throughout, and are of the earliest solid nickel silver construction. They have smooth surfaces, good crisp edges and precise accent grooves. They have an overall greenish patina, typical of aged nickel, except where the scabbard throat protected, which is shiny. The upper guard is marked with a Roman numeral III, for the third SS district. There is no lifting of the finish, showing these are indeed solid nickel silver.  The ebony grip is a nice example showing in very good shape except for a few hairline cracks near the cross guard and pommel, as well as some small dents. Early examples such as this were hand fit, which could result in cracking over time. The color is very good, and wood grain can be seen. The runes button is positioned at about 7:00 o'clock, as it should be. The silvered SS runes and double circles around them have a nice matching patina with the nickel still intact, with a little verdigris. There is however some chipping in the enamel. The nickel grip eagle is the "high-necked" type with the beak pointing slightly up. It remains in crisp condition, showing little wear to the bird's head, breast and wing feathering and to the talons, wreath or swastika. The scabbard shell is a solid example being straight as an arrow with a few small dents. It was originally anodized black steel, but that was at some point long ago painted over with black enamel, which is now full of checking and crazing, giving it a lovely aged look. The matching solid nickel silver scabbard mounts are in good condition. The lower ball has been crushed slightly and is split, due to the weaker nickel alloy used in early models (later ones used steel). An excellent chance to own a very good condition early SS dagger by a very rare Solingen blade maker!  Nice used example untouched and uncleaned showing the expected storage and age and wear. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic Brought home by a U.S. solider as a trophy of war.  Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. Certified by The Gettysburg Museum of History. The Gettysburg Museum of History does not support or condone Adolf Hitler or the Nazi Party and is only offering this as a historic relic. • Original LARGE WWII German State Service Flag Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

SOLD Original LARGE WWII German State Service Flag Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. With a deep understanding of pageantry and symbolism, and its propaganda and psychological effectiveness, the NSDAP went to great lengths to reinforce their political party to the general populace of Germany, with repetitive slogans and the omnipresent use of the swastika. Swastikas adorned flags, banners and pennants and were utilized at every possible opportunity. Originally the State Service Flag was introduced in the Weimar era in 1921 and consisted of three horizontal bars in black, white and red with smaller horizontal bars of black, red and yellow inset in the canton with a black national eagle positioned slightly off-center. On March 13TH 1933 the first Third Reich era State Service Flag was introduced and was designated, "Dienstflagge der Reichsbehörden zur See", (Service Flag of the National Authorities at Sea), but the original designation was altered to, "Reichsdienstflagge", (State Service Flag), on June 6TH 1933. The 1933 pattern flag followed the basic design of its predecessor with three horizontal bars in black, white and red with a black national eagle positioned in the center. On October 31ST 1935 a second pattern State Service Flag was introduced and was first flown on November 7TH 1935. Regulations dictated that the State Service Flag was to be utilized by all public administrative government authorities and was to be flown on their buildings, on inland waterways and the high seas vessels and service vehicles as required. The regulations also extended use of the State Service Flag to the authorities of the Reichsbahn, (National Railways), the Reich autobahn, (National Highways), and the Reichsbank, (National Bank). A 1935 pattern, double sided, printed, cotton/linen construction flag. The flag features a red base field white with a white, central, circular field with a black and white bordered, black static swastika to the center and a black bordered and accented, white NSDAP political style national eagle in the canton.
