Original WWII German Army (HEER) M42 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M42) Brought Back By A U.S. Veteran Certified

    $739.00
Original WWII German Army (HEER) M42 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M42) Brought Back By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The first "modern" steel helmets were introduced by the French army in early 1915 and were shortly followed by the British army later that year. With plans on the drawing board, experimental helmets in the field, ("Gaede" helmet), and some captured French and British helmets the German army began tests for their own steel helmet at the Kummersdorf Proving Grounds in November, and in the field in December 1915. An acceptable pattern was developed and approved and production began at Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz, in the spring of 1916. These first modern M16 helmets evolved into the M18 helmets by the end of WWI. The M16 and M18 helmets remained in usage through-out the Weimar Reichswehr era and on into the early years of the Third Reich until the development of the smaller, lighter M35 style helmet in June 1935. In an effort to reduced construction time and labor costs minor modifications were introduced in March 1940 resulting in the M40 helmet. Further construction modifications were undertaken in August 1942 resulting in the M42 helmet. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains about 95% of its factory applied field-grey textured paint. The left side of the helmet has an Wehrmacht eagle shield decal featuring a eagle with down-swept wings, clutching a canted swastika in it’s talons on a black, shield, shaped base. The decal is retained about 65%. All three liner retaining rivets are all intact. The interior of the helmet has a M31, tan, leather liner with all eight of its original fingers and the original tie string intact. Faint dome stamp. The reverse, interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number, "1357", and the manufacturers code and size, "EF62", indicating manufacture by  Emaillierwerk, AG Fulda, size 62. SOLD Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) "STAHLHELM" MEMBER'S LAPEL STICKPIN (Mitgliednadel) Certified. "Der Stahlhelmbund" (The Steel-helmet-league) was conceived as a national veterans’ organization by Franz Seldte in November of 1918, and was officially founded on Christmas day of that year. It was mostly comprised of WWI veterans trying to assimilate back into what was then a devastated society. The Stahlhelm became the largest of the post-war veterans’ groups, incorporating many of the smaller Freikorps groups into it. Most of its members were assimilated by the SA in 1933, and it was disbanded in 1935, with its remaining members absorbed by the DRKB ("Deutscher Reichskriegerbund"), which, in turn, was absorbed by the NS-RKB ("Nationalsozialistische - Reichskriegerbund") in 1938. A stamped, nickel-silver alloy pin, 3cm wide, in the form of a profiled M16 helmet, above whose chin strap rivet is stamped an Iron Cross followed by "Der Stahlhelm" in Gothic script. The recessed Iron Cross (which establishes the pin as that worn by front soldiers and Free Corps combatants from 1929 to 1933) and lettering have been darkened in a way that highlight them. To the base of the helmet is stamped the maker’s initials ‘N&H’, alongside of which is stamped "Ges. Gesch.," for "Gesetzlich Geschützt" (By-law Protected). • OUTSTANDING RARE Original WWII German Allgemeine And Waffen SS Belt Buckle Certified

SOLD OUTSTANDING RARE Original WWII German Allgemeine And Waffen SS Belt Buckle Certified. The Allgemeine-SS, (General-SS), was originally formed in May 1923 under the auspices of the SA, Sturm Abteilung, (Storm/Assault Detachment), as the Stosstrupp Adolf Hitler (Shock Troops), and was redesignated Schutz Staffel, (Protection Squad), in April 1925 with the official acceptance of the name verified on the second anniversary of the failed Munich "Beer-Hall" Putsch on November 9TH 1925. As a subordinate unit to the SA, early SS personnel wore the standard SA style box belt buckle. It is believed that Adolf Hitler personally designed a new pattern box belt buckle specifically for wear by SS EM/NCO personnel with the manufacturing patent being originally granted to the Overhoff & Cie. firm in Lüdenscheid. This new style buckle was adopted for wear by EM/NCO personnel in late 1931 or early 1932. Generally the early buckles were produced in solid nickel/silver until sometime in 1936 when aluminum alloys replaced the nickel/silver versions. In 1940 the EM/NCO’s belt buckles began to be manufactured in steel replacing the aluminum alloy buckles. Of Note: The RZM, Reichzeugmeisterei, (National Equipment Quartermaster), was officially founded in June 1934 in Munich by the NSDAP, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (National Socialist German Worker’s Party), as a Reich Hauptamt, (State Central Office), and was based on the earlier SA Quartermaster’s Department. The functions of the RZM were not only to procure and distribute items to Party formations, but also to approve chosen designs and to act as a quality control supervisor to ensure items manufactured for the Party met required specification and were standardized. Starting in late 1934 items manufactured for the SS came under the quality control of the RZM and as a result were to be marked with the RZM/SS approval/acceptance mark. In 1943 the Waffen-SS assumed full control over their uniform item production and no longer fell under the authority of the RZM. Injection molded, natural aluminum construction, (Circa 1936-1940), box belt buckle features a smooth, outer field with a high relief, embossed, central motif pattern consisting of an SS style national eagle with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreath, encompassing a static swastika. The swastika and wreath are in turn encompassed by a circular, simulated, twisted rope border with the Gothic script motto, "Meine Ehre heißt Treue!", (My Honour is Loyalty!). The script is situated on a subtly textured background field and is encircled by the inner and the outer simulated twisted rope borders. The reverse of the buckle is a mirror image of the obverse and the raised, slotted buckle catch, prong bar and prongs are all intact. The reverse of the buckle is well marked with the embossed "RZM" logo, and "SS" runes flanking the manufacturer’s contract code number and date, "822/37", indicating an unknown manufacturer in 1937. The RZM logo has dual circular borders while the SS runes have a single circular border. In good condition.  Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. $59.00
Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) NSKK SECOND PATTERN DRIVER'S SLEEVE DIAMOND. (Kraftfahrraute) Certified. The development of the NSKK, "National Sozialistisches Kraftfahr Korps" (National Socialist Motor Corps), can be traced back to 1923 when the SA introduced a "Kraftfahr Abteilung" (Motor Section) to transport personnel as required. In 1928 the SA Motor section was expanded to "Kraftfahrstaffeln" (Motor-squadrons). In an attempt to create a national motor corps, the NSAK, "National Sozialistisches Automobil Korps" (National Socialist Automobile Corps), was formed in April of 1930 as an NSDAP auxiliary organization, subordinate to the SA. In early 1931 Adolf Hühnlein was appointed as Chief of the NSAK and proposed a name change to NSKK, which was officially accepted in April of 1931. Shortly after the purge of the SA during the "Night of the Long Knives," in June of 1934, the NSKK was promoted to an official NSDAP organization, given independent status within the party, and absorbed the SA Motor Squadron's personnel. A "Kraftfahrraute" (Driver's-diamond) was originally worn by all NSKK members, on their lower left sleeve, but by September of 1939 only those who held one of the four classes of motor vehicle operator's licenses were permitted to wear them.  A black rayon diamond sewn over a wool padding insert, 70mm tall and 52mm wide, upon which is machine woven, in silver-aluminum thread, a second pattern spread-winged eagle clutching a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons, against a six-spoked wheel. Original WWII German Army (Heer) EM/NCO M36 Breast Eagle Removed From A Uniform Certified

    $59.00
Original WWII German Army (Heer) EM/NCO M-36 Breast Eagle Removed From A Uniform Certified.  The German army originally adopted a slightly modified version of the NSDAP’s national eagle by order on February 17TH 1934, with instructions to have it applied to all steel helmets, visor caps, and tunics by May 1ST 1934. Later amendments to the introductory order stipulated that the national eagle was also to be worn on all field caps, the sports uniform and the black panzer wrap. The eagle came in three distinct designs with two having slightly different out-stretched wings and the third with down-swept wings. Generally Officer’s ranks utilized hand or machine embroidered breast eagles while EM/NCO’s ranks utilized machine embroidered or woven breast eagles. The early, standard issue, EM/NCO’s M36 breast eagles were in white threads and were to be abolished in 1939 to be replaced with a less visible grey M39 breast eagle but the changeover was never fully completed. This pattern was primarily utilized on the service dress uniform and the M35 dress tunic but it can also be encountered on field blouses. Early, M36 pattern, machine woven breast eagle in light grey threads on a cut-out, woven blue/green rayon base.  Cut off and  Removed from a uniform.  In good combat worn condition with some storage and use wear.
