    Very Rare Field Marshall Erwin Rommel Hand Written Letter With Certification From Andre Husken And The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Extremely rare hand written letter in bold fountain ink by Field Marshal Erwin Rommel The Dessert Fox. Full page in his hand Rommel writes in 1937 inquiring about insurance for his son Manford. Full translation is on the certification document (see photos). Interesting very personal content. Rommel signed postcards and typed items singed are available in the collectors market but full page letters are very rare and seldom become available for sale.     Very Rare 3 Page Letter Written By SS Leader Heinrich Himmler to SS-Obergruppenfuhrer Richard Walther Darré.  Darré was one of the leading Nazi "blood and soil" (Blut und Boden) ideologists and was a high-ranking functionary in the SS and the seventh most senior commander in the organisation. Himmler also appointed him the Chief of the Central Office of Race and Settlement of the SS. The letter reads, “On the occasion of your birthday I hasten to convey to you the wishes that come from a friend's heart. May the new year bring you, above all, a return of your health which is the prerequisite necessary to master our destiny which is not a paltry one. An old map of Bohemia is my personal gift to you...I hope that the Damascus sword will also meet with your fond reception. I arrived at Gmund yesterday. I had an enormous mass of work to accomplish. Beginning tomorrow I will be celebrating the Day of German Art for three days...thereafter I am planning to go off on a fortnight's vacation...Murge spent 14 days at the Ostsee with Pegge, the best thing they could have done...And now, a firm handshake and Heil Hitler. Yours in friendship, H. Himmler”. On Himmler's personal stationary with  hand addressed  envelope with Himmler's SS embossed seal. VERY RARE IN THIS FORM. in good condition.     SS Leader Heinrich Himmler's Personally Owned Post Card "Liberated" From His Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. A postcard addressed to Heinrich Himmler with text and photo of a house with postage stamp and postal cancellation mark. This card was saved by Himmler and was his personal property until it was "liberated" from his home as a war trophy by a U.S. Veteran. We have a collection of items removed from Himmler's home including his personal correspondence, personal photos and an Amber covered Mein Kamph book given to him or his wife by Hitler. This was from Himmler's lakeside home "Haus Lindenfycht" south of Munich. An amazing piece of history.  in good condition an outstanding  example.
