Shop original SS daggers for sale from the Gettysburg Museum of History’s collection. The M33 SS service dagger (SS-Dienstdolch) has a black grip, nickel fittings and the motto Meine Ehre heißt Treue etched on the blade; the later M36 version hangs from a chain of linked plates. Hangers, belt loops and scabbards turn up with many of them.
Every SS dagger here is an original examined and certified by the museum. SS daggers are widely reproduced, so each listing describes the maker mark or RZM code, the blade etching, the grip and fittings, the scabbard and hanger, and any veteran provenance. Most came home with U.S. veterans.
Original SS daggers sell quickly, and sold examples stay online as a reference archive. See the museum’s SA daggers and German Army officer’s daggers, the SS uniforms and insignia, or the wider WWII militaria collection.
