Scarce Early Left Facing WWII German Hat Eagle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

    $69.00
Scarce Early Left Facing WWII German Hat Eagle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified . Original WWII German COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL OF 1ST OCTOBER 1938 With Original Issue Envelope Certified

    $89.00
Original WWII German COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL OF 1ST OCTOBER 1938 with original issue envelope.  The Commemorative Medal of 1ST October 1938 was the second of the "Anschluss", (Union/Annexation), medal series and was introduced on October 18TH 1938, for award to civilians and military personnel who participated in the "return" of the Sudetenland to Germany. The award followed the same design as the earlier, "13TH März" medal, that commemorated the annexation of Austria into Greater Germany. The Sudetenland, with over three million German inhabitants, was a section of Bohemia that had been awarded to Czechoslovakia in 1919 by the treaty of Saint Germain en Laye signed between Austria and the allies at the end of WWI. Hitler claimed that the Germanic Sudetens were being persecuted by the Czech’s as the main premise for the annexation of the area into greater Germany. Hitler also contended that the Sudentenland would be his final territorial claim in Europe. At a meeting in Munich on September 29TH 1938 between Britain’s Chamberlain, France’s Daladier, Italy’s Mussolini and Hitler, without Czechoslovakian input, it was decided that the Sudentenland would be "returned" to Germany and German troops marched into the region on October 1ST 1938. Nice complete example. Different examples Various hand written entries. Every German Solider had one but few were saved after the De-Nazifiacation of Germany after the war. He later mailed his share home. In 1947 he wrote to his former commander Colonel Robert F. Sink about the legality of taking Hitler's silver as a war trophy and Sink could not provide a clear answer (see photo of Sink's letter). Original WWII German COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL OF 1ST OCTOBER 1938 Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

    $79.00
Original WWII German COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL OF 1ST OCTOBER 1938 Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Roughly, 32mm diameter, bronze washed, die struck alloy construction medal features two embossed figures symbolically breaking the chains of bondage with an unfurled national flag in the background and a high relief national eagle to the bottom of the obverse. The reverse features embossed Latin script to the center,"1 Oktober 1938", encompassed by additional script, "Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer". (One People, One State, One Leader). The ribbon suspension ring and medal loop are both intact and the award comes complete with original ribbed, rayon ribbon. We have several in stock and will pick the best one for you. • Extremely Rare Extra Large Adolf Hitler’s Personal Silver Double Wine Bucket Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified

SOLD Extremely Rare Adolf Hitler's Personal Silver Double Wine Bucket Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. "We drank Hitler's Champagne". One of the rarest of all the Adolf Hitler service silver is the "double Champagne bucket" for 2 bottles to be served together. As far as we know there are only 3 of these that still survive today. Made by WMF or "Wurttenburg Metal Fabrik" most items that were WMF marked were recovered at The Berghof (Hitler's Home) at Obersalzberg near Berchtesgaden. The silver bucket has an engraved Hitler National Eagle with a Wreath Swastika and Hitler's personal "AH" monogram on both sides. These were made with both wooden handles like this and more common (but also very rare) metal handles. This is in fact one of the the rarest and the most desirable of all Hitler silver items. This was recovered most likely from the Berghof by a U.S. soldier in May of 1945.  It is in our opinion the best  and most collectible of the Hitler silver. This huge bucket is in good used condition some scratches and smudges. This wine bucket has all the correct maker marks and hallmarks for the piece. The outside surface is bright and polished the bottom and inside has some tarnishing that could be polished if the new owner desires.  Adolf Hitler Silver was the most desirable of all war trophies. Every U.S. soldier wanted to bring home something of Hitler’s. Hitler’s silver was the choice item. Unlike silver eating utensils that had many in a set the large serving pieces where much fewer (and hard to carry). Many U.S. soldiers who where lucky enough to get a hold of Hitler’s silver opted for the less cumbersome eating utensils. Many times only officers or soldiers with access to motor vehicles carried big pieces home. David Webster from "Easy Company" 506 PIR 101st Airborne (Band Of Brothers) wrote an article in the 1950's about drinking Hitler's Champagne and it was portrayed in the series "Band Of Brothers". One of the classic memorable events of the end of WWII. This items was very difficult to photograph because of the bright shine of the silver (it looks much better in person) 100% guaranteed to be authentic complete museum documentation (COA) provided. An amazing historical artifact from the  20th century’s most infamous person Adolf Hitler. Do Not Miss this once in lifetime offering!
