OUTSTANDING Original One And A Half Times Life Size Adolf Hitler Bust By H.M. Ley  With Heavy Marble Base Certified. Incredibly rare 1.5x lifesize Adolf Hitler bronze bust complete with its original base by H.M. Ley. This was a 1st prize award for an NSRK competition. NSRK was the National Socialist Equestrian Corps which started in 1936 and existed until the end of the war. It was the comprehensive designation of all mounted units of the battle organizations within the NSDAP which included SS, SA, and HJ. Typically these competition prizes were smaller desk sized pieces. One unique thing about this one, the foundry mark is engraved into the original stone base, not in the bronze itself. The artist H.M. Ley is in both the bronze and well as the stone. This would have been in incredibly expensive piece for the time and was more than likely a prize for a very important and prestigious Nazi riding competition. Finding a complete original bust that is unaltered and by the famous artist Ley is nearly impossible. Total height is about 18 inches.  VERY HEAVY! A very nice-looking artifact. very fine.
