Original WWII German Police EM-NCO M38 Overseas Cap Certified.  very good service used condition example of a German WWII Schutzpolizei (Protection police) EM-NCO M38 overseas cap (Schiffchen). The overseas cap, nicknamed in German military slang as Schiffchen, or literally “little ship” as it resembled an up-turned row-boat, was standard issue for for all military and many of the civic organizations of the NSDAP as well. This example is constructed of a dark navy blue wool exterior, with a black cotton lining marked with size 56. It features a fine BeVo style machine embroidered Civic Police Eagle trapezoid emblem on the front of the cap. . Nice set & rare!  Nice example with expected used U.S. Veteran bring-back condition a few small moth nips otherwise good.  Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided.
