Outstanding VERY HISTORIC Heinrich Himmler Signed (HAND Autographed) Document Certified.  Heinrich Himmler  (1900 – 1945) Hitler’s Chief of the SS and Gestapo placed in charge of security and responsible for the construction and operation of extermination camps. He chose suicide rather than face a hangman’s noose at Nuremberg. The Reichsführer-SS File No. RF/Pt. Berlin, 17 September 1938 SS-Group Leader Schmitt Berlin I am just now signing the promotion certificate of SS-Sturmbannführer Kölblinger to SS-Obersturmbannführer. I believe I clearly remember having seen him only recently as a Major of the Protective Police. I request that in the future it be most strictly avoided that anyone in the SS is promoted to a higher rank than in the Police. Such cases are to be submitted to me only as exceptions and only with special justification, and I will decide each case personally. In my opinion, Kölblinger was proposed for promotion by his former SS district, whereas he should long since have been assigned to the Police Department of the SS Upper District “Danube.” Please arrange for these matters to be corrected organizationally.
