Outstanding VERY HISTORIC Heinrich Himmler Signed (HAND Autographed) On Document Certified.  Heinrich Himmler  (1900 – 1945) Hitler’s Chief of the SS and Gestapo placed in charge of security and responsible for the construction and operation of extermination camps. He chose suicide rather than face a hangman’s noose at Nuremberg. An exceptionally rare and historically significant early SS correspondence dated May 2, 1931, on official “Reichsführung der Schutzstaffeln der N.S.D.A.P.” letterhead, personally signed by Heinrich Himmler in his capacity as Reichsführer-SS. The document is addressed to “SS-Sturmführer Krüger, Berlin” and originates from the SS headquarters at Briennerstraße 45 in Munich. Typed on official Reichsführer-SS stationery featuring the early SS eagle and swastika emblem, the letter discusses internal SS matters and references SS-Oberführer Kurt Daluege and Major a.D. Schröder. The correspondence closes with the period salutation “Mit Hitler Heil!” followed by Himmler’s bold ink signature and an original red Reichsführer-SS office seal. This document dates from the formative “Kampfzeit” period of the SS, prior to the National Socialist seizure of power in 1933, when the organization was still relatively small. Authentic early SS documents from this era are considerably scarcer than later wartime material and are highly sought after for their historical importance and early provenance characteristics. Condition shows expected age toning, fold lines, filing holes, and light handling wear consistent with period office correspondence. An important and rare pre-war SS artifact from the early development of the organization under Himmler’s leadership.  The Himmler signature is VERY LARGE and VERY Dark.
