    Excellent Original WWII German Luftwaffe M-35 Ex Double Decal Helmet Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran

    Excellent Original WWII German Luftwaffe M-35 Ex Double Decal Helmet Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. This helmet had a rare 1st pattern eagle but was sent to the factory for reissue. It was covered by a 2nd pattern eagle. Also had a tri-colored shield now covered. The sheet steel construction helmet retains about 87% of its smooth, Luftwaffe blue/grey paint. The left side of the helmet has a second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal which is retained 65%. The right side is covered.  All three liner retaining rivets and both inset ventilation bushings are all intact. The interior of the helmet has a tan leather, M31 liner. All the liner fingers are complete. The reverse interior neck guard apron is serial number stamped, "3642" and the interior left side apron has stamped manufacturers code and size, "ET64", indicating manufacture by Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz, size 64. Comes with original maker marked chinstrap dated 1938.     SOLD Original WWII German Parade Bayonet With Frog And Trodde E&F Horster & Company  Maker Brought Home By US Veteran. Parade version of the k-98 Mauser bayonet the workhorse of the German military in WWII. Roughly, 24cm long, nickel/silver plated, drop forged, steel construction blade with wide fullers to each side. The blade is still quite clean and bright. The ricasso is well marked with impressed manufactures logo.  The bayonet has a nickel/silver plated alloy, opened muzzle ring, crossguard with one up-swept arm, a flash guard and a stylized eagle head pommel. The bayonet has diamond grooved, molded black bakelite grips which are secured to the hilt by two small, dome headed steel rivets. The "TO" slotted, stylized eagle head pommel and stud button are all intact and functional. The bayonet comes complete with its original black painted, sheet metal scabbard that retains about 75% of its original black finish. The dome headed throat retaining screw and frog lug are both intact. Has a used leather frog and almost mint Trodde with silver wire cloth and green finish (Army). Overall nice almost perfect condition (except for the loss on the scabbard)  It shows the expected age and use. Brought home by a U.S. Veteran as a trophy of war.     Rare Original WWII Era German Model 1916 Double Decal Army (Heer) Named Transitional Helmet

    Rare Original WWII Era German Model 1916 Double Decal Army (Herr) Transitional Named Helmet. Factory re-furbished construction German M16 helmet retains about 65% of its  field-grey over-paint. The left side of the helmet has an Wehrmacht eagle decal which is retained about 80%. The tri-color shield on the right side is about 60%. The two forward liner retaining rivets, both of the extended ventilation side lugs and both of the early chinstrap retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has an M31 tan leather liner with the metal liner band ans all eight fingers still intact. An amazingly excellent condition liner.  Name is written in the liner in ink. Shows the expected age, but overall excellent condition. Nice helmet.     Sold Original WWII German Named Combat Used Army (Heer) Belt And Buckle Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. 1940 pattern, field-grey painted, stamped steel construction, combat box buckle features a smooth outer field with a high relief, embossed Wehrmacht eagle with down swept wings to the slightly domed center, encompassed by an oak-leaf cluster to the bottom and script, "Gott Mit Uns", (God With Us), to the top. The oak-leaf cluster and script are on a ribbed background and are encircled by both an inner and outer simulated twisted rope border. The reverse of the buckle is a mirror image of the obverse. The reverse has the brazed buckle catch, prong bar and prongs all intact.  Comes with a nice 100cm long EM’s leather belt. Belt is complete with the size adjustment strap with the solider's name written in ink. A great combat used example.  US. This collectors box contains a U.S. .30 Caliber bullet shell that was recovered near Brecourt Manor where Easy Company took 4 German cannons shooting at Utah Beach on D-Day. This came from the hedgerow on the property next to the De Vallavielle property where the machine was set up to cover the advancing Easy Company soldiers including Dick Winters who took the guns. This was not taken from the De Vallavielle property! We have a large piece of the machine gun belt that we kept for our museum display but decided to share a few of the loose shells that came from this historic location with other collectors.     Fantastic WWII German Luftwaffe M-40 Factory Re-issue Single Decal Helmet With U.S. Veteran Provenance

    Fantastic WWII German Luftwaffe M-40 Factory Re-issue Single Decal Helmet With U.S. Veteran Provenance. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains about 95% of its  rough textured, field-grey over-paint with a few scrapes and scuffs to the original, underlying Luftwaffe blue/grey paint and the base steel with minor surface spotting. The left side of the helmet has a Luftwaffe eagle decal which has been scratched during storage (see photos) .   All three liner retaining rivets are intact and tight. The interior of the helmet has an almost mint light  tan,  leather liner with all eight of its fingers and the original tie string intact. The liner shows only storage wear to the edges, light age and  toning. The liner has a dark black size ink stamp. This helmet was sent back to the factory and re-issued with a rough texture overpaint. It was never used after going back to the factory. there is even one of the vent holes in the liner still retaining one of the pre-punched holes in the leather. This helmet was brought home by U.S. Army Airforce Sgt. John Deere of the 100th Bomb Group 8th Air-force. Deere was shot down during a bombing run and was captured toward the end of the war. He did however mange to get this helmet after his release. His story is documented in the book "Heroes Next Door" (see photo). Besides the scrapes on the decal this helmet is about as close to mint un-issued as you can get. 100% guaranteed to be authentic Museum documentation (COA) included.     SOLD Original WWII German M-35 Former Double Decal Army (Heer) Helmet, U.S. Veteran Bring Back. The sheet steel construction helmet retains about 80% of its original smooth parade green paint. The left side of the helmet has an black lined, Wehrmacht eagle decal which is retained about 95%. The right side of the helmet's national tri-color decal has been removed per 1941 orders. All three liner retaining rivets and both inserted ventilation bushings are all intact. The interior of the helmet has an  tan leather liner with all of its fingers  intact. The liner is in overall very good condition showing light chafe wear to the edges.  The interior reverse neck guard apron is serial number stamped, "0777", and the interior left side apron is stamped with the manufacturers code and size, "Q64", indicating manufacture by Quest, size 64. An untouched early example brought back by a U.S. Veteran. This is a scarce earlier helmet , most earlier versions were repainted for use later. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic and untouched . No decal and some of the paint has worn off from decades of handling (see photos). This was an early battlefield pickup and was in an older French collection. It was recovered at the hamlet of La Grand Chemin just outside of St. Marie Du Mont and next to Brecourt Manor. This is where "Easy Company" of the 101st Airborne (Band of Brothers) gathered just before the assault on the German battery at Brecourt Manor led by Lt. Dick Winters.     Original WWII German M16 Transitional Army Helmet Painted By U.S. Vet As A Trophy Helmet. Factory re-furbished construction Austrian M16 helmet retains part of it's  field-grey over-paint. The left side of the helmet has an Wehrmacht eagle decal which is retained about 95%. The two forward liner retaining rivets, both of the extended ventilation side lugs and both of the early chinstrap retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a tan leather liner that is complete and has some condition issues (see photos). It has an unusual transitional chin strap. The art is painted by a U.S Veteran of the 1st Army with the First Army insignia and the European countries the First Army went through.     BACK IN STOCK Original WWII German Army (Heer) belt buckle with leather tab. combat box buckle features a smooth outer field with a high relief, embossed Wehrmacht eagle with down swept wings to the slightly domed center, encompassed by an oak-leaf cluster to the bottom and script, "Gott mit Uns", (God with Us), to the top. The oak-leaf cluster and script are on a ribbed background and are encircled by both an inner and outer simulated twisted rope border. The reverse of the buckle is a mirror image of the obverse. This buckle was brought home by a U.S. soldier as a war trophy. In very good condition. A fine original example. We have several. We will pick out the best one from our current inventory.
