A very nice perfect smooth chocolate brown patina. It has the scarce maker mark “H.A. Dingee” stamped into the back of the plate.   A solid plate from a very historical battlefield. This is an older recovered box plate. A very historic recovery location and a very nice looking plate.   Recovered what was then off National Park property and is 100% Legal and 100% authentic. Both of the two hooks is present and   it looks great, in excellent relic condition.
