Death cards were memorial made for fallen soldiers during WWII. So many German soldiers fell on foreign soil and their bodies remained on foreign soil so the family’s would have these Memorials for the solider called “Death Cards”. They would have a photo of the dead solider and usually a patriotic or more often a religious symbol. They are really great for research because they also contain a lot of information birth date, death date, unit, awards, family information and more.
