Original WWII German ARMY (HEER) M40 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M40) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains a good portion of its original paint showing some  wear and field usage. Eagle decal is about 75% complete.  All three liner retaining rivets and both inserted ventilation bushings are all intact. . The interior of the helmet has a tan, M31 leather liner with all  of the eight of its fingers intact one small hole.  Has the original chin strap but it was repaired at some point  (see photos). Shows the expected age, wear and use.  In good but used condition . Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic brought home by a U.S. 42nd Division Veteran.
