Original WWII German Luftwaffe (Airforce) M42 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M42) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Helmet retains a good portion of its rough textured Luftwaffe grey paint. Second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal is also retained about 95%. All three liner retaining rivets intact. M31 tan leather liner is complete.  The reverse interior neck guard apron is lot number stamped, “P3269” and the interior left side apron has stamped manufacturers code and size, “NS62”, indicating manufacture by Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke, AG. Schwerte, size 62.. Nice untouched helmet. One strap is still present but the buckle is gone. Shows the expected age, wear and use.  In good but used condition .
