Original GERMAN NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) POLITICAL VISOR CAP COCKADE. (NSDAP Kokarde) Certified. Officially introduced in August of 1935, the cockade was worn on the front center band of the Political Leaders visor cap. In 1939 a new regulation, added a gilt wreath around the cockade. Early 1st pattern example. A three-piece, political style national tri-color cockade. The cockade features a fluted a semi-translucent red enamel base, a silver washed, alloy roundel and a cut-out, canted, black enameled swastika.  Nice example showing the expected minor age and wear overall good condition with some loss.
