An aluminum tag that would go on a license plate signifying that this auto is the official vehicle of an important NSDAP official called a Landrat, or county commissioner, whose duties were all encompassing in administration of the Kreis, or county. He was the chief bureaucrat of the NSDAP in the various Grafschaften. This particular one is from The Rockenhaus District. The Red embossed license plate tag  measures approximately 4.5cm.
