Original WWII German Luftwaffe (Airforce) M35 DOUBLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M35) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran, Certified. Helmet retains a good portion of its original smooth, Luftwaffe blue/grey paint. Second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal is retained about 70%. National tri-color shield decal is retained about 85%(see photos). All three liner retaining rivets and both ventilation bushings are all intact. M31 tan leather liner is fully intact with all fingers and original tie string. Liner is well marked with  inkstamped size “58”.  The interior, left side, apron has the stamped manufacturer’s code and the size, “NS 66” indicating manufacture by manufacture by Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke, AG. Schwerte, size 66. Both straps are intact with proper Luftwaffe early brown out  and in good working condition. Has the soldier’s name written in black ink on the liner (see photos) excellent named example. Shows the expected age, wear and use.  In good but used condition .
