RARE OUTSTANDING LARGE 60″ Large Hand-Carved NSDAP Nazi PARTY Wooden Eagle Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Massive hand carved oak third Reich eagle measuring 5 feet wide (60.5 inches) and 32” tall. It’s two piece construction with the body and wreath being one piece and the wings being the other. The detail is extraordinary and the original stain is nearly all there. The ribbon around the wreath still has some of the original gold paint present. Many years ago the swastika became damaged and separated from the red portion of the wreath and the previous owner attempted to repair it but did a terrible job. A new swastika was replicated using the same oak wood and stained to match the rest of the bird bringing it back to its original look. This was purchased directly from Germany in 2024 and shipped back to the US. Finding an eagle in such a massive size and in such excellent shape is very very uncommon.
