German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) SA (Brown Shirts) Dagger RZM Makked Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran. The blade is in good condition. There are typical runner marks, and some spotting of graying. The original motto etching remains crisp and light. The reverse of the blade is crisply marked with a circular RZM logo and the manufacturer code M7/68, indicating manufacture by  Tigerwerk Lauterjung & Co. of Solingenthe  dated 1941. The brown wood grip on this late period SA dagger is very nice, with an attractive and very evident wood gaining, especially on the reverse. The crossguards are silver plated and show significant wear and age. As is usually the case, some of the plating has flaked away, revealing the base metal.. The original, German eagle and the enameled SA runic button roundel, show some wear.  The scabbard has some paint loss. A typical Veteran bringback. Nice period used SA Dagger captured by a U.S. Veteran   and brought home as a war trophy.
