RARE OUTSTANDING German Third Reich Desk Eagle Presented As An Award For A Sailing Competition In 1939 Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. This particular eagle pattern is quite rare and is seen far less often than the Nuremberg style eagles. The eagle stands 9.5 inches tall. It’s in excellent shape. Note: where the swastika meets the base has rather imprecise solder. In many cases, these alloy desk eagles needed a reinforcement repair on the narrow areas where two pieces connect. There is a bolt that connects the two pieces together but overtime the allow around the bolt will crack but not separate completely, being held together by the bolt itself. This could potentially be the case with this example, but also could be from the original manufacturing. The bolt and nut under the base are all completely original.  This one has a pretention plaque (see photos).  Very fine condition. This is a “one looker” as we say! Some wear from use otherwise.  100% guaranteed to be authentic. Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided. Please see our other items on our web site. DON’T MISS THIS! One of the truly desirable Third Reich Artifacts!  VERY HEAVY! Get this nice one while you can the prices on these keep soaring!  OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE!
