Original German Third Reich Hitler Youth 1935 YOUTH FESTIVAL BADGE. (Jugendfest Abzeichen) Certified. A 29mm x 40mm stamped metal badge with a silver wash, commemorating, as indicated in runic script along each side, the “Deutsches Jugendfest,” for, as indicated along the top, “1935.” A spray of oak leaves are beneath the date and, beneath that, an eagle with the HJ diamond and swastika to its breast rising above the flames of a campfire. To the unmarked reverse is a horizontal pin-back device. Type “1” badge being slightly wider and with a horizontal pin. Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided.
