Herman Goering’s Personally Owned/Used Silver Fork Recovered By A U.S. Solider Certified. A silver fork made by master silversmith with Herman Goering’s Personal family coat of arms crest. This is the pattern that is attributed to his home on the Obersalzberg near Berchtesgaden and his personal baggage train that was also there. This house was damaged by Allied bombers just before the it was captured by U.S. and French forces in May 1945. Most of this pattern of Goering silver is attributed to 101st Airborne soldiers but the exact Veteran who took this was not documented. The engraving is nice and all the hallmarks are correct for this piece.  100% Guaranteed to be authentic Brought home by a U.S. solider as a trophy of war. This type is pictured in Dr. Mark Griffith’s book on the subject. Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. Certified by The Gettysburg Museum of History.
