Original WWII German DRK HELPER’S ACTIVE SERVICE BROOCH. (Helferin Abzeichen) Red Cross Nurse Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Roughly, 31mm diameter, nicely convexed, die struck alloy brooch with a silver wash and black, white and red enameled finishes. The brooch features a black enameled circular outer border with embossed silver washed Gothic script, “Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Helferin”, (German Red Cross Helper), encompassing a white enameled circular inner field with a central red enameled Greek style cross. The solid reverse is marked Ges. Gesch and maker mark, Complete with original pinback device. Brought back by a U.S. Solider. Good condition with some wear and storage age and expected issues. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic Complete Museum documentation (COA) Provided.
