Original Named General Vietnam U.S. M-1 Swivel Bail Helmet With Cover Certified. A Vietnam War helmet complete with liner. Has original straps and hardware in excellent (almost mint) condition. rear seam swivel bails. The liner and shell  has been together for a long time, original factory paint on the helmet.  Original period applied paint. All hardware is complete. . Has a “Mitchell” camo cover and elastic strap to hold it. Has the General’s name on the original leather sweat band. We can’t make it out completely (see photos)  The webbing is in good condition and some storage wear too. It has a black metal General star on the camo cover that looks like it once had a former rank of Col. in cloth sewn on For a collector that is looking for an good example that is original.  Authenticated by The Gettysburg Museum Of History.   Museum documentation (COA) provided.
