Original Battle Damaged WWII German Fire Police DOUBLE DECAL FEUERSCHUTZPOLIZEI HELMET. (Stahlhelm M34) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The stamped, sheet steel construction, civic M34 helmet retains some of its original black satin finish paint . The left side of the helmet has a silver bordered, black based, police decal with the second pattern, silver, wreathed police eagle as introduced on July 28TH 1936. The decal is retained 85%. The right side of the helmet had a party shield decal in good condition 89%  The helmet has two separate, groups of seven, “salt & pepper” ventilation holes positioned on each side of the crown. All four of the flat headed liner retaining rivets are intact.  Complete liner  system. Size is about  57. nice bullet or shrapnel struck liner the chin strap in intack but only attached on one side. Very used helmet. Shows the expected storage age, wear and use. In good but very used condition .
