Original German WWII Luftwaffe Paratrooper Gravity Knife  Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. A Rare German Paratrooper Knife! This example was. This example has fine, stainless-steel components.  The knife is fully  functional, and intact. The blade release works well  it works on gravity and the lock is great!  and though there is some wear to the blade of this knife and does show use and sharpening, which has marred the finish on the surface of the blade. Also it has ben sharpened so the tip is a bit shorter than it was when it was first made. The  logo is worn off , and the factory finish is worn. The blade is still very sharp. The grip plates are of walnut with the standard four retaining rivets. These plates are in good but used  condition throughout,  (see photos).
