Original WWII German Army  EM/NCO’S VISOR CAP EAGLE. (Schirmmützen Adler) Certified.  Second pattern, die stamped zinc alloy, construction national eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in its talons. The eagle has a roughly, 65mm wingspan and is slightly convexed to fit the contours of a cap. As is typical and expected with a zinc production examples it has pushed away most of its original silver wash and has reverted to the flat matte grey of the base alloy.  The recessed reverse of the eagle has all three  of its original soldered attachment prongs intact. The eagle has the manufacturers markings .
