Original WWII German Luftwaffe (Airforce) M40 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M35) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Helmet retains a good portion of its rough textured Luftwaffe grey paint. Second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal is also retained about 85%. All three liner retaining rivets intact. M31 tan leather liner is complete.  The reverse interior neck guard apron is lot number stamped, “9846” and the interior left side apron has stamped manufacturers code and size, “SE62”, indicating manufacture by Sächsische Emaillier-und Stanzwerke, AG Lauter, (Saxon Enamel and Die/Metal Stamp Works), size 62.. Nice untouched helmet.. Shows the expected age, wear and use.  In good but used condition . Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic brought home by a U.S. Veteran.
