Original WWII U.S. Firestone Helmet Liner With 29th Division Painted Insignia Certified

SOLD

Original WWII U.S. Firestone Helmet Liner With 29th Division Painted Insignia Certified. original WWII U.S. Firestone manufactured M1 helmet liner. The liner’s exterior factory finish is in worn, but good condition; the rear exhibits a small crack.ย  The khaki suspension is strong and intact. It comes complete with its original neckband andย  headband. The outside is painted with the 29th Division’s “Blue and Gray” insignia lots of wear on the paint (looks like it was intentionally scratched off).ย  The back has the name “Cluck” scratched into the paint. This liner would pair quite nicely with a fixed loop M1 helmet shell.ย  We rarely get WWII US helmet liners because so many were reused for Korea and Vietnam so it’s difficult to find a true WWII example. 100% guaranteed to be authenticย  WWII U.S. Helmet liner. .ย  Authenticated by The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Comes withย  Museum documentation (COA) provided. Please see our other WWII items on our web site. Do not miss this one!ย  Greatย  example from one of the most desirable D-Day (Omaha Beach) units, the 29th Infantry Division.
