Original WWII U.S. NAVY MK 2 Legendary CAMILLUS Fighting Knife Certified. Early example of the United States Navy issue Camillus Mk 2 Type 1 Fighting Knife with some  of the original finish remaining, some loss from shapenning,  Simple rounded end steel guard, nice stacked leather grip with a black steel pommel. Brown/black leather sheath .  there are some small areas of past corrosion. The edge however is still nice, and the blade has a great shape. Most likely the knife spent much time in the scabbard while in service,  The leather scabbard is the standard type used with the Mark 2, and is in very good used condition, The leather has faded to a lovely black brown, but it is still supple and without major cracks. Almost all of the stitching and rivets are still intact, though the finish is definitely worn.  field used with a very nice original scabbard.
