Original WWII German Luftwaffe (Airforce) M42 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M42) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Helmet retains a good portion of its rough textured Luftwaffe grey paint. Second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal is also retained about 78%. All three liner retaining rivets intact. M31 tan leather liner is complete size stamped “56”.  The reverse interior neck guard apron is lot number stamped and the interior left side apron has stamped manufacturers code and size, “ET64”, indicating manufacture by Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz, size 64.. Nice untouched helmet.  Shows the expected age, and storage wear.  In good but used condition .
