Original WWII German ARMY (HEER) M18 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M18) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains a good portion of its original EARLY APPLE GREEN paint showing some wear and field usage. This helmet is a DOUBLE DECAL HELMET The Eagle decal is about 90% complete. The Tri-color shield was removed as per the 1941 directive.  (see photo).  All three liner retaining rivets and both inserted ventilation bushings are all intact.   The interior of the helmet had a tan, M31 leather liner that is no longer intact. The ring and felt liner are still there. The interior inside has a lot number stamped, and the interior left side apron is stamped with the manufacturers code “K64” size 64.    Shows the expected but MINIMAL age, wear and use.  In good but used condition.
