Original WWII German ARMY (HEER) M40 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M40) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains a good portion of its original paint showing some wear and field usage. Eagle decal is about 87% complete.  All three liner retaining rivets and both inserted ventilation bushings are all intact.  The interior of the helmet has a tan, M31 leather liner is complete and in amazing condition  soft good leather (see photos)  A large size about 68 (see photos). With chin strap in very good condition.   Shows the expected age, wear and use (see photos). In EXCELLANT but used condition.
