Original WWII German Luftwaffe (Airforce) M40 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M40) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Helmet retains a good portion of its textured Luftwaffe grey paint overpainted with hand applied tropical camoflauge paint. . Second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal is also retained about 40%. All three liner retaining rivets intact. M31 tan leather liner is complete and in fair  condition some tearing  (see photos). It still has it’s original tie string!   The reverse interior neck guard apron is lot number stamped, “12230” and the interior left side apron has stamped manufacturers code and size “hkp64”, indicating manufacture by Sächsische Emaillier-und Stanzwerke, AG Lauter, size 64. ,  Nice bringback helmet.. Shows the expected age, wear and use.  In good but used condition . Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic brought home by a U.S. Veteran.
